The wants, the needs and the must haves.

I struggle day to day with these thoughts. But when it really comes down to it the only things that I need and must have is my loved ones. My son, my hubby and my parents. That is what it's all about.

Recently I realized that the way we measure happiness in life is not in the things we possess but in the people that surround us. Life is short and we all take advantage of it.

Seeing the people that I love happy makes me happy and seeing them sad makes me sad. Love is such a strange beautiful thing that can never really be described but can only be felt.

These past months have flown by! Our life is slowly going back to some sort of normal. I am almost finished unpacking just two more boxes left in the kitchen and I'll be done. Eli is doing great. Laughing, sitting, trying to crawl and standing.
